Freeride school in Gudauri

My schools are 5 days of intensive training in groups of up to 6 people. This program is suitable for you if you want to immerse yourself in the world of snowboarding, find like-minded people and take your riding to a new level. We will remember and hone the basic techniques, learn more advanced techniques and use them in different conditions. Also, one of the days we will conduct an introductory practice on rescuing an avalanche victim. Classes last 4 hours, so you will have time to ride for your own pleasure or just relax. During these 20 hours of training, you will notice a significant improvement in your riding!

The program of classes will be formed depending on the level of the group, but the schools will be divided into basic Levels 1 and level 2. Please read the description below and soberly assess your capabilities.

Level 1

You can handle the green slopes with confidence, even if your technique is not perfect. The main thing is that you can descend them without stopping, controlling the speed and trajectory. Perhaps you are also able to descend from the blue's, even if it is not so easy. Maybe you've already tried your hand at red ones, but you're still uncomfortable there. You probably haven't tried the black slopes, and at the moment they seem too steep and difficult to you.

In this group, there will be more about honing basic techniques and moving to more difficult slopes, but we will also try off-piste skiing, carving and, if desired, even a snow park.

Level 2

You confidently descend the red slopes, even if your technique is not perfect. The main thing is that you can descend them without stopping, controlling the speed and trajectory. You are also able to ride on black ones, even if not with such ease.
If your level is higher, but you want to work on your technique, this program is also suitable for you.

At the beginning of the training, we will also go through the basic techniques to make sure that you use the most appropriate techniques for different conditions. Then we will move on to work on more advanced techniques: carving, basic flat freestyle, changing the radius and dynamics of turns, eliminating drift, achieving an early edge change, etc.

We will also look at how to use various techniques to maintain control over the board when terrain and snow conditions change, at this level we will focus on off-piste riding.

Price
500€ per person for schools taking place in Gudauri.
For schools taking place in Gudauri, the price is only for tuition. The price does not include accommodation, flights and transfers, as well as ski passes and equipment.
1200€ per person for schools taking place in Svaneti.
For schools taking place in Svaneti, the price is for tuition, transfers Tbilisi - Mestia - Tbilisi, all transfers during program and accommodation in a double room with breakfast.
